How to Grant Access to Meta Business Suite

In this article, we will guide you through how to grant us access to Meta Business Suite.

Key Definitions:

(Please refer to this list, as some terms may get a little confusing!)


Meta Business Suite: Used to claim ownership, manage, and monitor all Facebook and Instagram assets, including: 

  • Facebook page
  • Instagram page
  • Meta ad account
  • Meta pixel

Available both on Desktop and Mobile.

Business Account: Your school’s business account, located in Meta Business Suite. You will manage your school’s assets and user access in this account. (Learn how to set up a Business Account in this Knowledge Base article.)

Things You’ll Need Before You Start

  • You will need Full Control of the Business Account in order to provide access. If you haven’t created a Business Account in Meta Business suite, read this Knowledge Base article to learn how.
  • To make sure you have full control of your Meta Business Account, hit the Settings tab (gearbox icon) in the left-hand navigation bar, then hit the “Peoples” tab to see authorized user’s permissions.

Add People to Your Business Account

Meta Business Suite

  1.  Click the Settings tab (gearbox icon) in the left hand navigation bar on the main window.
  2.  In the Settings page, click the Business Settings tab (gearbox icon).
  3. Select Partners on the left-hand navigation section in the Users section.

  4. 4. Click the blue Add button.
  5. Click Give a partner access to your assets.
  6. Enter Pepperland Marketing’s Business ID: 10153151043227674
  7. Choose the business assets you want to assign to your partner. In the left-hand navigation section be sure to select:
    • Facebook page (Full access)
    • Ad account  (Full access)
    • Instagram account  (Full access)
    • Meta pixel (Full access)
  8. Click Save changes.

Next, you’ll want to provide admin access to at least one other trusted colleague. This is important because it’s extremely difficult to access a Meta Business Suite account once access is lost.

  1. Navigate to People on the left-hand navigation section in the Users section.
  2. Click the blue Add button and invite your colleague by sending the invite to their work email address.
  3. Provide them with admin access to the Meta Business Suite account and all assets.
  4. Have your colleague accept the invitation they received in their work email. They will be prompted to connect their personal email address that they use to access Facebook (don’t worry! There is no transparency between Facebook Business Manager and your personal email account).
