How to Grant Access to Google Ads

Follow these steps to provide Pepperland Marketing with the necessary access to your Google Ads account

Step 1) Find and share your Google Ads account ID

  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner.
  3. Your customer ID will be listed under "Account Information."
  4. Copy the ID, and then email it to your Client Success Manager at Pepperland via our support@pepperlandmarketing.com email address. 

Additional tips to find your customer ID

  • Your customer ID is displayed in the top right corner of your Google Ads account.
  • For Manager accounts, click the down arrow next to the MCC account name in the top left corner. The customer ID will be displayed under the drop-down arrow near the name of the MCC account.
  • If you are logged into your Google Ads account, click on the Google Ads logo in the top left corner. The customer ID will be included in the URL.
  • You can also find your customer ID in previous Google Ads emails or billing statements, or in the payment profile linked to your account. You can find your payments profile by logging into your Google Ads account, clicking the billing icon, and then clicking Payments profiles. You’ll see a list of all the payments profiles associated with the account.

Step 2) Accept our request in your Google Ads account

Once you have shared your account ID with your Client Success Manager, we will initiate a request. You will need to accept that request by following the steps below.

On an Individual Account (most common)

  1. In your Google Ads account, click the Admin icon Admin Icon.
  2. Click Access and security.
  3. Select the Managers tab. Under “Link request”, you’ll find a list of manager accounts that have requested to link to your account.
  4. In the "Actions" column, you can Accept or Decline an invitation. To complete the action, follow the instructions on the page.

On a Manager Account

  1. Sign in to your Google Ads manager account.
  2. Click the Admin icon Admin Icon.
  3. Click Access and security.
  4. Select the Managers tab. Under “Link request”, you’ll find a list of manager accounts that have requested to link to your account.
  5. In the "Actions" column, you can Accept or Decline an invitation. To complete the action, follow the instructions on the page.
