Set up your ChatGPT Ads account and give Pepperland access

Create or confirm your company's advertiser account, complete setup, and invite the Pepperland team.

Before you begin

Choose someone at your company who can administer the account and complete billing. Have your registered business details, billing information, and the Pepperland email addresses supplied by your account lead ready. Pepperland recommends that your company own the account and pay OpenAI directly. Each person should use their own login.

1. Check for an existing account

Ask your marketing or IT administrator before creating an account. If an account already exists, its administrator can invite users.

2. Create the account

  1. Open ads.openai.com and sign in with the intended work account.
  2. Follow the setup prompts. You may skip the first ad if you are only establishing access.
  3. Check the country, currency, and time zone carefully before submitting. These settings cannot be changed afterward.
  4. Review the terms and privacy notice shown during signup.

3. Confirm business details

In Settings > General, check the logo and names:

  • Account Name identifies the account internally.
  • Brand Name appears with ads.
  • Legal Name should match the registered business.

4. Complete billing

The billing owner opens Billing, completes the billing profile, and enters the company's payment details directly. Never email card details or passwords to Pepperland. See OpenAI's billing and payment guide.

5. Invite Pepperland

  1. In Settings > Users, select Invite.
  2. Enter each confirmed Pepperland work email address.
  3. Choose Member for campaign management or Viewer for reporting only.

Admin grants full platform access. Use it only when Pepperland explains a specific need and you approve it.

6. Confirm the handoff

Send your account lead the advertiser account name and ID, then ask Pepperland to confirm that the invitations work.

You are ready when your company can administer the account, business and billing setup are complete, Pepperland can open the correct account, and any remaining reviews or restrictions are documented.

Troubleshooting

Sign-in or access fails

Confirm the invited email address and the advertiser account. Access to a ChatGPT workspace alone does not provide ChatGPT Ads access. See OpenAI's identity and access guide for Ads Manager.

Account creation is blocked

Share the exact error text and the selected organization with Pepperland, but do not share credentials. Do not create duplicate accounts to bypass a restriction.
