Set up your Reddit Ads account and give Pepperland access

Create or confirm your company’s advertising account, complete setup, and invite Pepperland Marketing.

Before you begin

Choose someone at your company who can administer the account and coordinate billing. Have your business details, company Reddit login, and payment information ready.

Pepperland recommends that your company own the advertising account and pay Reddit directly. Each person should use their own login. Never share passwords or send payment card details to Pepperland.

You will need Business Admin access to your company’s Reddit Business Manager to share advertising assets with Pepperland. See Reddit’s partnership guide. business.reddithelp.com

1. Check for an existing account

Ask your marketing or IT administrator before creating an account. Sign in to Reddit Ads and check whether your company already has an advertising account.

A regular Reddit profile is not the same as a configured Reddit Ads account. If your company already has an advertising account, skip the creation step below. business.reddithelp.com

2. Create the account

  1. Open Reddit’s advertising signup page.

  2. Sign in with the intended Reddit account, or create an account using a company-managed email address.

  3. Enter your contact information, business’s legal name, industry, country, and currency.

  4. Check the country and currency carefully before submitting. These settings cannot be changed afterward.

  5. Complete registration and verify your email address.

If you create a new Reddit username, choose carefully. The username cannot be changed and may appear on ads when used as your advertising profile. See Reddit’s account setup guide.

Leave campaign creation and launch to Pepperland after the account handoff and budget approval.

3. Confirm business details

Open the Ads Manager navigation menu and select Business Details under Business. Confirm your company’s business name, website, and primary contact.

In Business Manager, check Assets > Ad Accounts for the account Pepperland will manage and Assets > Profiles for the Reddit username you intend to display on ads.

Pepperland recommends adding another trusted colleague as a Business Admin so your company is not dependent on one person for access. Manage your team under Users > Members.

4. Complete billing

The billing owner should select the correct ad account in Ads Manager, open Billing, and add the company’s payment method directly. Companies already approved for monthly invoicing should confirm their existing billing arrangement instead.

5. Invite Pepperland

  1. In Business Manager, open Users > Partners.

  2. Select Add Partner and enter Pepperland Marketing’s Business ID:

  3. Confirm the business preview shows Pepperland Marketing, then select Next.

  4. Select the ad account Pepperland will manage. Include the intended advertising profile if profile sharing is needed.

  5. Choose Creator for campaign management or Analyst for reporting only, unless your account lead has confirmed a different requirement.

  6. Complete the remaining prompts to send the invitation.

Leave credit lines and unrelated assets unselected unless otherwise agreed with Pepperland.

Check the selected permission before saving. Changing a partner’s maximum ad account role later requires removing and reassigning access. See Reddit’s partnership guide and roles and permissions guide for additional information.

6. Confirm the handoff

Email your account lead at support@pepperlandmarketing.com with your company’s business name, ad account name and ID, and intended advertising username.

Pepperland will accept the invitation, assign the appropriate team members, and confirm that we can access the correct account and advertising profile.

You are ready when your company can administer the account, billing is complete, Pepperland has confirmed access, and any remaining restrictions or setup needs are documented.

Troubleshooting

I cannot find the account or sharing options

Confirm that you are signed into the correct Reddit login and business. Ask your company’s administrator to verify your Business Admin role. Share screenshots or error messages with Pepperland, but do not share credentials.

The account is already shared with another agency

Reddit allows an ad account to be shared with only one business partner at a time. Contact Pepperland before removing an existing partnership, because removing shared access can interrupt ads. See Reddit’s partnership guide for more information.
