Set up your TikTok Ads account and give Pepperland access

Create or confirm your company’s advertising account, complete setup, and give Pepperland Marketing access.

Before you begin

Choose someone at your company who can administer the account and coordinate billing. Have your registered business details, company payment information, and access to the TikTok profile you intend to use for advertising ready.

Pepperland recommends that your company own its Business Center and advertising account and pay TikTok directly. Each person should use their own login. Never share passwords, verification codes, or payment card details with Pepperland.

You will need Admin access to your company’s Business Center to invite Pepperland as a partner. See TikTok’s partner access guide for more information.

1. Check for existing accounts

Ask your marketing or IT administrator before creating anything new. Sign in to TikTok Business Center and check whether your company already has a Business Center and advertising account.

Your TikTok profile, Business Center, and advertising account serve different purposes. Having a TikTok profile alone does not complete your advertising setup. If your company already has both a Business Center and advertising account, skip the creation step below. See TikTok’s Business Center setup guide for additional details.

2. Create the accounts you need

  1. Open TikTok Business Center and select Sign up, or Log in if you already have a TikTok for Business login.

  2. When creating your company’s Business Center, select I am an advertiser.

  3. Enter your company’s legal name and Business Center details. Check the country, currency, and time zone carefully before submitting; some information cannot be changed afterward.

  4. Complete the setup prompts. If an advertising account was created during signup, do not create another.

If you still need an advertising account, open Accounts > All accounts > Advertiser accounts, select Add advertiser account > Create New, and complete the required details.

Leave campaign creation and launch to Pepperland after the account handoff and budget approval.

3. Confirm business details

Review your company’s information in Business settings. Open Verification and complete any required business verification using information that matches your company’s supporting documents.

See TikTok’s business verification guide for more information.

Pepperland recommends keeping another trusted colleague as an administrator so your company is not dependent on one person for access.

4. Complete billing

For accounts managed through Business Center, the billing owner should open Finance > Payment management and add the company’s payment method directly. Confirm any existing invoicing arrangement instead of replacing it.

See TikTok’s payment setup guide.

For spending approval, payment options, and promotional credits, also review Approve your TikTok Ads budget and check billing.

5. Invite Pepperland

  1. In your company’s Business Center, open Partners.

  2. Select Add partner and enter Pepperland Marketing’s Business Center ID:
    7587844044483526673

  3. Confirm that the business shown is Pepperland Marketing.

  4. If prompted to establish a media agency partnership, select Yes when Pepperland will manage your TikTok media buying.

  5. Select Next, then choose the advertising account Pepperland will manage.

  6. Choose Operator for campaign management or Analyst for reporting only, unless your account lead has confirmed a different requirement.

  7. Select any additional assets agreed with Pepperland, such as the relevant TikTok Pixel. Leave unrelated assets unselected.

  8. Review the selection, then select Next > Confirm.

Admin access includes broader account settings and permissions. Use it only when Pepperland explains a specific need and you approve it. Operator supports campaign management and can also include ad-account finance functions; granting access does not authorize spending beyond your approved budget. See TikTok’s permissions guide for more information.

6. Authorize your TikTok profile for advertising

Sharing the advertising account does not, by itself, authorize use of your company’s TikTok profile and videos. Pepperland will check whether the intended profile is already available for advertising. See TikTok’s guide to linking profiles to advertising accounts.

If additional authorization is needed, Pepperland will send a TikTok-generated QR code:

  1. Open the TikTok mobile app and sign in to the company profile you intend to advertise under.

  2. Go to Profile > Menu > Your QR code, then select the Scan icon.

  3. Scan the code supplied by Pepperland.

  4. Review the business name and requested permissions before approving.

For advertising-only work, Pepperland will request Deliver ads permissions. Depending on the campaign, these may include using existing posts and publishing new advertising videos. Choose Only show as ads for new videos that should not appear on your public profile, unless organic publication is also agreed.

See TikTok’s advertising authorization guide.

7. Confirm the handoff

Email your Pepperland account lead at support@pepperlandmarketing.com with your Business Center name and ID, advertising account name and ID, and intended TikTok username.

Pepperland will review the invitation, assign the appropriate team members, and confirm access to the correct advertising account and required assets.
